Hacienda has a great bar and very attentive staff, but the best part is the amazing view of Lake Mission Viejo. Great for parties as well, with multiple rooms for large groups!

We had a large group (24) including many kids and Haciendas was a fantastic place for us to visit & dine. They accommodated us in an area slightly separate from other guests and we had plenty of space to move around and visit with each other. Our server, Cassandra, was a super star. One of the best servers we ever had! She kept track of who was together from the moment we walked in, helping us to get proper split checks. She was friendly l, attentive and very efficient. The food was excellent and delivered very timely, especially considering the large group. Drinks were great as well. We highly recommend and will definitely be back.

My wife and I both decided to head to Hacienda on the Lake for a nice meal on the water. We were greeted by Maria who is such a wonderful person and so cheerful and welcoming. Maria took us to a nice table at the waters edge. So nice! I saw Miguel with a serape and he looked quite authentic. Miguel is the GM and a wonderful person. We were greeted by Raphael and what an amazing server and person. We spoke of his daughter who is attending Harvard on a full ride scholarship and he was glowing as a proud papa. He works two jobs to help his daughter with all other expenses. A wonderful man. We ordered drinks which were fantastic. My wife had a blended margarita and I had two Don Julio 1942s on a large rock and one mango margarita. So so good. My wife ordered the Hacienda tacos with chicken and I had the chicken breast tostada. The food was wonderful. We had the guacamole and chips with salsa while awaiting out main entrees. Alex one of the other managers came by to say hello and we chatted for a while and we also said hello to Hilda, Mauricio, and Kassandra. The staff are so nice and just wonderful people. The main entrees came and were excellent. Miguel has us try a new cabernet savignon and brought out a bottle of topo chico. The staff go above and beyond and we thoroughly enjoyed our evening out. The ambiance is second to none with a gorgeous view and the closest thing to Mexico right here in Mission Viejo. Highly recommended

This is a popular casual meeting spot for my friends and me. Can't beat the view, the guac, salsa & chips are yummy, and their margaritas are always good! What's not to love!

The ambiance and view was so perfect for our date night , the servers were all so sweet, it was A very beautiful restaurant in a beautiful setting . I got the chicken tortilla soup and the chicken and veggies were super fresh, husband got the steak tacos and we were both very happy with the quality of the food :). The service was also fast. Really could not have had a better romantic place for date night :)

Stopped in for lunch this time! The restaurant had just opened so it was pretty empty. We ordered my favorite, the tostada salad with grilled chicken - their salsa, chips, and entrees are always so fresh and delicious! The entree was large enough to share between two people. Thank you for another great visit!

Came for brunch with friends-this was my second time here. Great view overlooking Mission Viejo lake. The food is good. Complimentary chips and salsa. I had the brunch special-spinach, mushroom and cheese omelette. It came with 2 glasses of champagne. Overall ok value for good good but the view is what made it a great experience. There are 3 levels for outdoor seating plenty of spots. Reservations recommended for view. Our server was friendly and a jokester making it fun.
